Welcome to the new Citizen Portal

We are pleased to offer our citizens, businesses, and visitors access to government services online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are fulfilling our promise to deliver powerful e-government services and provide valuable information about the community while making your interactions with us more efficient, convenient, and interactive.  As an anonymous viewer you can view building permit information (i.e. history) and check status of applications for parcels in the Town's jurisdiction.  The public can view pending and issued building permits from November, 1993 forward via the web.  Building permit history prior to November, 1993 is available to view via Laserfiche at the Town Building Division Counter Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.   As a Registered User, the Town's new Online Permitting System is your link to apply, pay for, and receive select types of Residential Permits onlyThe following Residential permits are now available via the Online Permits System: Electrical Service Panel (200 AMPs or lower), Copper Repipe, Water Heater replacement (same type and location), Water Line repair, Furnace and Air Conditioner repair/replacement (same location) for parcels in the Town's jurisdiction.  To schedule an inspection, click "Search Permit" and type in the permit number located on the inspection card in the top right corner.  In order to schedule an inspection, the status of the permit must be in "issued" status.  All inspection requests must be processed from the On-Line Permit System by 12:00 P.M. (noon) the previous business day. If you are in a County pocket, please contact Santa Clara County Building Department at (408) 299-5770.  Contractors and property owners can register to use the system to create any of the above permits on the online Permits System.  Contractors must have a current Business License with the Town in order to obtain permits.

We trust this will provide you with a new, higher level of service that makes living and working in our community a more enjoyable experience.
